Stay Comfortable This Summer with These Cabin-Cooling Techniques

If you've ever climbed into a vehicle that's been parked in the sun in the summer, you know how miserable it can be; even with the windows down or the AC on full blast, it seems to take forever for the cabin to cool down. So, to help you out, we have a couple tips on how to cool down just a bit before you start driving.

Before you sit down, open the passenger side door and "fan" the driver side door several times to push the hot air out. To keep the wheel from burning your hands, turn it upside down when you park so the part you touch stays cool in the shade. Finally, a drink koozie fits quite snugly over the gear shifter so you won't set your fingers in fire every time you change gears.

If you need a new Ford model to call your own and put these new skills to use, make your way out to our Altavista, VAdealership at your earliest convenience. We hope to see you soon and introduce you to the ride of your life.
